MONT-I TO STD-II

This is with reference to the Assessment Pattern to be followed for the session 2026 – 2027. Kindly adhere to the changes.

Internal Assessment Bifurcation – Curricular Scheme

Periodic Test: Two Periodic Test in a year, will be of 20 marks.

Multiple Assessment: Techniques to access learners via quiz, oral test or class test.

Portfolio: Includes classwork & Homework assignments.

Subject Enrichment Activity: Includes listening & speaking skills in languages, projects in Math, Science, & Life skills in EVS (Activity based).

Note: Kindly note for class IX, as per the new guidelines of assessment, Mid Term and Annual Exam will be conducted.

However, to ensure the regular revision of concepts and to avoid learning gap, the school will conduct one round of PERIODIC TEST in the month of July & December 2026. This in turn shall set the pace of continuous learning along with reinforcement of basic concept. Students can opt for 6th optional subject as Information Technology (Theory-50 + Practical 50) or Hindustani Music Vocal (Theory-30+Practical-70)

ASSESSMENTPATTERN:CO-SCHOLASTIC

Health and Physical Education, Work Education and General Studies will be graded on an 8-point grading scale (A1 to E) for the academic year 2026-27. The activities and projects pertaining to the above will be carried out throughout the academic session, which in turn will equip the students with core life skills and competencies to transform them into lifelong learners.

Note: Kindly note for class XI, students must clear all assessments, including Unit Tests, Mid-Term and Annual Exam (both theory & practical) to be promoted to STD – XII. Promotion will be granted on appearing & securing pass mark in all subjects in theory as well as practical (Annual & Aggregate).

However, to ensure the regular revision of concepts and to avoid learning gap, the school will conduct regular class test to monitor progress. This in turn shall set the pace of continuous learning along with reinforcement of basic concept.

CO-SCHOLASTIC

It is once again reiterated that the facilitators are giving optimum exposure and practice to the learners to keep them abreast with the latest changes. However, your support and encouragement towards the pattern will go a long way in yielding whole some learning and assessment.
