CBSE Skill Expo & Guidance Festival 2026
St. Xavier’s High School, Barabati, Cuttack has been entrusted with the prestigious responsibility of hosting the CBSE Skill Expo & Guidance Festival 2026 on 21st July 2026. The event will bring together students, educators, education professionals and distinguished guests from various CBSE-affiliated schools to celebrate innovation, skill development and career guidance.

Investiture Ceremony
The school will conduct the Student Council
Elections for the selection of the new Prefects,
Cabinet Members, Head Boy and Head Girl.
The Investiture Ceremony will officially confer
responsibilities upon the newly elected Student
Council.

The Month
of Assessment
Academic preparation takes centre stage as students move towards the first major assessment phase of the session.
Unit Test / Periodic Examination
The Unit Test / Periodic Examination for all classes is scheduled to commence from the third week of July. Students are advised to revise the prescribed syllabus thoroughly and maintain a consistent study routine.
DeepGrade Examination
Students of Classes IX and X will appear for
an AI-based DeepGrade Examination as part of
the school’s academic assessment programme.
The examination will evaluate conceptual
understanding and learning progress.
Class Teachers will discuss the AI assessment
in detail with students and parents. Detailed
examination pattern and guidelines will be
shared by the respective Class Teachers.
Parent–Teacher Meetings
PTMs will be conducted both before and after the Unit Tests. The pre-examination meeting will focus on preparedness and study strategies, while the post-examination meeting will discuss performance, progress and areas for improvement.
Rath Yatra
The school will remain closed on the occasion of Rath Yatra in observance of the festival.
